With Agile working we search for a way to achieve a complex objective. Experiment and learn. Agile is for those situations where you cannot make a good plan in advance or have all the answers about how to achieve something or what exactly the end result will be.

Imagine that you and your team really work together in those situations to find solutions that you could not think of before. And that you maintain contact with your most important clients to develop the best solution based on their feedback.

Agile working is exactly about this attitude. This mindset.

Are you new to Agile working? Or would you like a targeted boost in “Agile thinking” with your team?

With this masterclass, Jordi Eilers takes attendees into the mindset of Agile working in an active online setting.

In the masterclass, you learn to explain what Agile is and why that is important. We do not achieve this by lecturing a lot, but by exploring together. We discover what complex goals are, what is really meant by the Agile Manifesto, why metrics are so important, what it means to inspect and adapt, and why Scrum and Kanban are good options for Agile working.
The masterclass is fit for all types of teams and knowledge levels, from HR teams to development teams and from service teams to management teams.

Key takeaways
Agile is really about experimenting and learning together.
Active feedback and metrics are necessary.
Mindset trumps process. The process helps.

Program Masterclass

The masterclass follows the following program. Throughout the session, the emphasis is on the conversations you have with other attendees and how you can immediately use the lessons learned the next day.

Welcome
Who is who, what are we going to talk about, and what do you want to learn?

Mindset Matters, To act Agile or to be Agile
In this part, we explore the difference between tools, processes, principles, values, and mindset.
You will learn when Agile thinking is useful and the basic principles of Evidence Based Management and setting and managing complex goals.

Agile Manifesto, deep dive
A real deep dive into the Agile Manifesto. We will reflect everything we have learned here on the original Agile Manifesto. Afterwards, you can explain what the values and principles of the manifesto are and what the underlying mindset is.

To measure is to know, and why that is important
Now that we can explain the mindset, let’s delve into Evidence Based Management and why metrics are so important in Agile working. How should you measure? What should you measure, and how can you prove that your developments really contribute to your objectives?

Process thinking: Kanban & Scrum
Achieving an objective in an empirical manner holds a suggestion about a process. In this part of the masterclass, we learn how Agile problem solving can basically work. What does this mindset look like as a process? We then discover why Kanban and Scrum are good choices for working with an Agile Mindset.

The entire masterclass is packed with challenging exercises and inspiring lessons.

Feedback and certificate
We conclude the masterclass with a feedback round. Did you learn what you came for? Are there any questions left? You will receive a personal certificate of participation the next working day.

Jordi Eilers
Agile Coach, Trainer

I have more than 24 years of experience with project and process management in roles such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Agile Coach. In all those years, I learned a lot of lessons that I wish someone had told me at the beginning of my Agile journey. All those lessons I have combined into one focused, fresh, and active masterclass.

I work as a Digital Nomad, mainly online. In addition to the masterclass, I give
on-demand (Agile) coaching, team sessions, and individual coaching. I support Product Owners and Scrum Masters and mediate in conflicts.
